FAQs Telehealth
Do You Provide Telehealth Appointments?
Yes. Our office is able to provide telehealth speech and language evaluations for Social Security disability claims. These appointments are available for children ages 5 and up, as well as adults. All telehealth evaluations must be arranged and approved through your adjudicator.
Evaluations are conducted via Zoom. You must have a reliable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit, private environment. You will receive instructions at least 24 hours prior to your appointment.
Please note: Smartphones may not be used for telehealth speech and language evaluations because standardized testing materials require a larger screen.
You must use a tablet (minimum 9.7-inch screen), laptop, or desktop computer.
Telehealth appointments must be confirmed 48 hours prior, and a valid email address is required to receive the appointment link and instructions. At the time of the evaluation, the claimant must be physically located within the State of Illinois..
